Manchester United intend to reject any bid for captain Bruno Fernandes before the transfer deadline, according to multiple reports on 17 August 2026.
BBC Sport (Simon Stone) and other outlets report that United’s position is clear: Fernandes is not for sale at any price. Club sources say no formal bids have been received yet, but interest has been noted from Galatasaray, reportedly preparing a deal that could reach around €50m / £42.7m, as well as Juventus and AC Milan. Any approach would be rejected.

Fernandes is in the final year of his contract (with a club option for an extra season). A previous £57m release clause for overseas clubs has expired.
He is understood to prefer staying at Old Trafford.
